Tokhon chhile bahu dure kiser anweshane.
Kule jakhan elem phire takhan astashikhar shire
Chaailo robi shesh chaawa taar kanak chnaapar bone.
Aamar chhuti phuriye gechhe kakhan anyamone.
Likhon tomar binisutor shiuli phulermala,
Baani je taar sonay-chowa oruno aaloy dhaala –
Elo aamar klaanta haate phul jhorano shiter raate
