Notes: Several people had gathered at Shantiniketan for a rehearsal of a drama. A majority had eased up for a pleasure trip to Paruldanga in the evening. Only a few like Charu Chandra Bandopadhyay and Amol Hom had stayed back. At midnight they had a faint cue of musical notes. On inspection it revealed that the serrounding was flooded with pleasing moonlight and the poet was engrossed with himself working out this song in Behag.
